Pikes Peak Con

The Zebulon pike will have a table and be volunteering on October 6th from 10 am till it ends. Lets see our members there and helping

Pikes Peak Comic Convention sponsors, vendors, artists, authors, and attendees.

In the essence of full disclosure: Pikes Peak Comic Convention has had a serious challenge in making this event happen. While it is great to have vendors lined up, guests lined up and many other things ready to go; it is a huge disappointment when the venue decides that the event no longer meets their mission. This information came to us four weeks prior to the event date and after a year of planning even though we had a super successful event at the same venue last year. We held steady until this past Monday with hope that the venue owners would change their minds with more information and facts. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
After such a setback, we reached out to our friends and community partners; and two came through! Our friends from @Colorado Zombie Outpost and @A Better Self Storage have saved this event! Their commitment to our community and our local business owners have allowed us to a venue with 20,000 square feet of open space and their neighbors. We are super excited about the new direction of this event!
Now, because of the change in venue, we can no longer offer free admission. But, but we can still keep it low enough for everyone to enjoy the day. Admission has been set for $5! This will help us offset some of the new costs that we are taking on. Also, autographs and photos will be charged separately but will be very reasonable.

Pikes Peak Comic Convention remains committed to military, their families, students and their families. We are just extending this love to the rest of the public.

So, two and a half weeks out, we could really use your help. Please spread the work. Cary Tagawa (Mortal Kombat) will be your headliner. And locals favorite, Susanne Lambdin (creator of our mascot, through her books “The Dead Hearts” series, and soon to be announced Michael Toth (one of the last 2D animators…before computer graphics). We hope to add to the list and will make announcements as we confirm.

Round up your friends & your cosplay! Join us at Pikes Peak Comic Convention on October 6th.
